✓ Trust & moderation

Reviews should help people, not game the score.

The policy protects genuine public feedback, business right to reply and independent inspection results.

Three core rules

Useful reviews require both freedom and control.

People can share genuine experience, businesses can answer, and manipulation can still be investigated.

✓

First-hand experience

Reviews should reflect a genuine interaction or relevant experience with the listed place.

No manipulation

Fake reviews, self-reviews, coordinated campaigns and duplicate submissions are not acceptable.

↔

Right to reply

Businesses may respond and clarify facts, but a response does not automatically remove genuine criticism.

Public reviews

Users should submit accurate, relevant and respectful feedback based on their own experience. Reviews may be moderated when they contain spam, impersonation, threats, private information, unlawful content or clear attempts to manipulate ratings.

Conflicts of interest

Owners, employees or closely connected parties should not present undisclosed self-interest as independent customer feedback. Suspected conflicts can be flagged for additional review.

Fraud and duplicate checks

VerifiedScore may use account, device, IP, timing, duplicate-text and behavioural signals to identify suspicious activity. A suspicious signal does not automatically prove wrongdoing, but it may trigger moderation or exclusion from public scoring.

Business responses

Verified business representatives can reply to reviews and explain corrective action. Replies must remain relevant and should not expose private customer information.

Independent inspection

Inspection results are separate from ordinary public ratings. Inspectors follow assigned category parameters, record observations and may attach evidence. Controlled review and approval can be required before inspection results affect public reporting.

Paid services and ranking

Payment for a business feature, subscription or promotional service must not directly buy a higher public, inspection or final score.

Corrections and appeals

Businesses and users may report factual errors or moderation concerns. A correction may update profile information or moderation status when supporting information is available.

Policy updates

Moderation and anti-fraud controls may evolve as new abuse patterns appear. Material policy updates should be reflected on this page.
